UNICEF and ZANEC advise zambian gov't to quickly develop the ECCDE policy




The United Nations Children’s  Emergency Fund (Unicef) And Zambia National Education Coalition (Zanec) Have Advised Government To Hasten The Process Of Implementing And Putting Into Place The Early Childhood Care And Development Education Policy.

Unicef And Zanec Have Also Urged Government To Quickly Develop The National Action Plan For The Smooth Implementation Of Early Childhood Care And Development Education (Eccde) Policy Which Will Give A Clear Road Map On The Areas Of Investment And Needy.
Zanec Board Chairperson Barbara Chilangwa Says As A Signatory To The Education For All (Efa) Framework Promulgated In 2000 During The Dakar World Education Forum, Zambia Still Has An Uphill Task Ahead To Achieve 2015 Millenium Development Goals.
The Zanec Board Chairperson Was Speaking  This Morning During The Civil Society Consultative Meeting.
Speaking At The Same Meeting Unicef Representative Chilumba Nalwamba  Advised That Members Of Parliament Are Sensitized About The Eccde Flame Work So That They Can Lobby For Structures In Their Constituencies.
And Zanec Board Member And Chairperson For Early Childhood Care And Development Education Henry Kabwe Says Government Must Quickly Develop The National Action Plan Amongst Other Several Recommendations Which Stakeholders Have Given
