D.E.C arrests a 58-year-old business man of lusaka for being in possession of more than $9,000counterfeit notes

The Drug Enforcement Commission Has Arrested A 58 Year-Old Business Man Of Lusaka For Being In Possession Of More Than $9,000 Counterfeit Notes.

According To D.E.C Deputy Public Relations Officer Theresa Katongo, Martin Mulonda, 58, A Business Man Of 04/19 Kaunda Square Stage One In Lusaka, Has Been Arrested For Being In Possession Of Us$9,800 Counterfeit Notes.
Ms Katongo Says The Suspect Was Intercepted In Lusaka’s Chainama Area.
Meanwhile, Ms Katongo Has Disclosed That The Commission Over The Weekend Arrested Over 15people Countrywide For Trafficking In Various Quantities Of Cannabis.
She Says Among Those Arrested Is Juliet Chabala, 25, Of Jealous Village In Kawambwa District For Trafficking In Loose Cannabis Weighing 18.7kg And Raphael Musonda, 52, A Peasant Farmer Of Mubamba Village In Nchelenge District For Trafficking In 2.604kg Of Cannabis.
Ms Katongo Says Others Arrested Include, Esnart Gahsi A 74 Year-Old Zimbabwean Woman Of Sichaba Village In Chongwe District For Trafficking In 203g Of Cannabis And Adam Malama, 37, A Peasant Farmer Of The Same Village For Trafficking In Loose Cannabis Weighing 4.8kg.
She Says All Suspects Will Appear In Court Soon.
