The Launch Of The Programme Was Witnessed By
15ministers’ Spouses, Led By Mrs Scott And Later In The Day, The Community Was
Joined By Dr Scott Who Was Accompanied By Southern Province Minister Daniel
Munkombwe, Deputy Minister Of Commerce, Trade And Industry, Richwell Siamunene, Who Is Also Sinazongwe
Member Of Parliament.
Also In Attendance At The Event Was Maamba
Collieries Limited Board Chairman Ashok Devineni, Resident Director Ashwin
Devineni And Other Mcl Members Of The Board Directors And Mc Management.
Maamba Collieries Mobilized Four Medical
Doctors For The Exercise Covering Four (4) Areas That Included Gynecology,
Surgical, Dental And General Body Conditions.
The Surgeon Attended To 73 Cases Of Mainly
Hernia And Growths And Out Of The 73 Cases, 13 Were Recommended For Operation
And Further Attention At Maamba Hospital.
The Gynecologist Attended To 74 Cases Out Of
Which 5 Were Referred To Monze General Hospital While The Dentist Saw 44 Cases
And Most Them Were Referred To Maambahospital For Teeth Extraction.
