The Theme ‘Building On Today’s Prosperity’ Opens Its Doors To The Public
Officially On The 4th Of August 2012.
The Countries Which Have Confirmed Their Participation Are Malawi, Angola, Germany, Ghana, South Africa, Pakistan, Tanzania, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Egypt, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, India, Zimbabwe, China And Seychelles.
According To Agriculture And Commercial Show Society Of Zambia President Joseph Mwale, The Total Number Of Exhibitors At This Year’s Show Is One Thousand And It Is Expected That There Will Be A High Turn Out Of Both Local And International Exhibitors.
Mr. Mwale Says Going By The Number Of Applications Received By The Society So Far, All The Sectors Of The Economy Are Represented Including Private Non Profit Making Organizations, Government Departments And Aid Agencies.
He Says The Judging Of Pavilions Will Take Place On Thursday The 2nd Of August 2012 And Will Continue And Be Finalized On Friday The 3rd Of August 2012.
Mr. Mwale However Said The Two Days Are Also Trading Days.
Mr. Mwale Who Was Speaking At A Media Briefing In Lusaka Today Says The Lima And Young Farmer’s Halls Will House The Provincial Exhibits Where Provinces And Individual Farmers Will Exhibit Their Produce And Compete For National And Individual Awards.
Meanwhile Mr. Mwale Has Disclosed That The Society Has Maintained Gate Charges For The Show At Last Year’s Fee And Pre-Sell Tickets Will Be In Use Despite Previously Having Discontinued The Exercise.
