THE ZAMBIAN LABOUR MOVEMENT HAS PREDICTED TOUGH AND TIGHT TRIPARTITE ELECTIONS

THE LABOUR MOVEMENT IN THE COUNTRY HAS PREDICTED TOUGH AND TIGHT TRIPARTITE ELECTIONS WHICH WILL BRING A BALANCED PARLIAMENT IN THE NEXT SITTING AS NO POLITICAL PARTY HAS SUPPORT FROM ALL CORNERS OF THE COUNTRY.
ZAMBIA CONGRESS OF TRADE UNION GENERAL SECRETARY ROY MWABA SAYS THE RACE TO STATE HOUSE IS LIKELY TO SEE A TOUGH BATTLE BETWEEN THE RULING MMD PARTY AND THE PF BUT THERE COULD BE A SURPRISE UPSET FROM THEIR UPND COUNTERPARTS THAT HAVE STRONG BASE IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE.
MR. MWABA SAYS THE ROAD TO STATE HOUSE IS WIDE AND THIS IS CASTING DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY ON THE OUTCOME BUT A POLITICAL PARTY WITH MEMBERS WHO WILL BE ISSUE BASED IN THEIR CAMPAIGNS ARE LIKELY TO RECEIVE MORE VOTES AS PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF MUDSLINGING AND BEING HOODWINKED ALL THE TIME.
HE SAYS THE LABOUR MOVEMENT IS KEEPING A WATCHFUL EYE ON WHAT IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING AND HOW POLITICIANS ARE ARTICULATING THEIR PARTY MANIFESTOS TO THE VOTERS EVEN THOUGH THE DOCUMENTS SEEM TO BE REPLICAS OF EACH OTHER
MR MWABA HAS POINTED OUT THAT ZCTU WILL REMAIN NON PARTISAN STATING THAT ITS MEMBERS WILL ONLY SIDE WITH POLITICIANS WHO HAVE THE INTEREST OF THE ZAMBIANS AND ARE ISSUE BASED IN THEIR CAMPAIGNS IN RELATION TO CREATING EMPLOYMENT.
