THE RULING MOVEMENT FOR MULTI-PARTY DEMOCRACY (MMD) LUSAKA PROVINCE CHAIRPERSON WILLIAM BANDA HAS CHARGED THAT THE MASTER PLAN 3024 HAS MADE THE PACT TREMBLE AND FAILED ITS PEOPLE.
SPEAKING IN AN INTERVIEW WITH RADIO PHOENIX MR BANDA SAYS HE HAS BEEN VINDICATED WHEN HE SAID THAT THE PACT WAS GOING NO WHERE DURING THE TIME WHEN THE MASTER PLAN 3024 WAS BEEN LAUNCH IN THE PROVINCE AND IF ANYONE FROM THE TWO POLITICAL PARTIES IS DISPUTING THE FACT.
MR BANDA SAYS PEOPLE CAN SEE FOR THEMSELVES THAT THE PACT WAS A NON-START EVEN FROM THE BEGINNING BECAUSE THE TWO PARTIES HAD DIFFERENT IDEOLOGIES WHICH THEY HAVE FAILED TO HARMONIZE UP TO NOW.
HE SAYS THE MMD IN THE PROVINCE IS WORKING TIRELESSLY TO ENSURE THAT THEY UNSEAT THE OPPOSITION PF WHICH CURRENT IS ROCKED WITH INTERNAL SQUABBLES WHICH CAN BE SEEN FROM THE RELIEVING OF ITS PARTY SPOKESPERSON GIVEN LUBINDA WITHOUT STATING THE REASON.
THE RULING PARTY PROVINCIAL CHAIRPERSON HAS STATED THAT PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT THE NON-EXISTENT PACT AND ARE FEED UP WITH THE RHETORIC’S COMING FROM PARTY MEMBERS WHO HAVE CONTINUED GIVING CONFLICTING STATEMENTS.
