Joint government Investigations Team warns and cautions William Banda


The Government Joint Investigations Team has today warned and cautioned former MMD Lusaka Province Chairman, William Banda.

according to government joint investigations team public relations officer namukolo Munyeme-Kasumpa says Mr. Banda has been cautioned for being in possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime Contrary to Section 71 of Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act Number 19 of 2010.
Mrs. kasumpa has stated that the case is in connection with the 4 motor vehicles that were seized from him namely a Toyota Crestar Saloon car Registration No ABX 1408, Toyota Harrier ALB 3619, Toyota Hillux Surf ABL 9009.
She says Mr. Banda has also been warned and cautioned for two Toyota Prado’s Registration No ABZ 1661 green in colour and Registration No ABR 9874 silver in colour respectively, and the One Hundred Million Eight Hundred Thousand Kwacha found in his possession all of which are suspected to be proceeds of crime.
Mrs. Kasumpa Mr. Banda is being represented by Robson Malupenga of Robson Malupenga and company.
