More than 60 companies have shown interest and booked space for exhibition space at this year Zambia International Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition to be held in June from 19-22 in Lusaka.

With only days a month in between to go before the start of the event in Lusaka on 19 June, the Zambia International Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition (ZIMEC 2012) is reporting an impressive mobilization from the mining and energy industry!

The ZIMEC 2012's programme has been designed to provide participants with the maximum practical knowledge in just 3 days.

The main themes of the event for this year are increasing the capacity for Zambia's mineral production, Corporate Social Responsibility in the mining and energy sector, the new legislative framework in Zambia, Financing the mining activities in Zambia and Improving transport infrastructures. 

The conference provide an opportunity to identify the individual specificities of the Zambian market, its opportunities and challenges, and ultimately receive the key to establish a profitable and sustainable presence in the country and region
