MTN Zambia and multi-choice Zambia enters into partnership to enable customers to pay their DSTV subscription using mobile money


MTN Zambia and multi-choice Zambia have entered in partnership to enable customers to pay their DSTV subscription using mobile money.

The strategic partnership with multi-choice Zambia, MTN mobile money registered customers will now be able to pay for their DSTV bills from their mobile phones at their own convenience through out the country.
MTN-Zambia chief marketing officer Ernest fonternel says the phenomenal uptake of MTN mobile money in Zambia is a clear indication that an increasing number of Zambians are excited to finally have the ability to conduct financial transactions through their mobile phones.
Mr. fonternel says the MTN network is growing rapidly, with banc ABC coming on board has resulted in the telecommunication company having 400 agents to be in the field through out the country with all service centers and connect stores offering registration and services.
He says the agreement with multi choice Zambia also confirms the telecommunications company’s commitment to continue exploring innovative ways to make its products as relevant as possible within the Zambian market.
Speaking during the launch of the product, Mr. fonternel has stated that MTN mobile money creates a safe environment for the banked and un-banked population to perform banking transaction.
And speaking at the same place, multi-choice Zambia sales and marketing manager cliff sichone says the partnership between the two companies is a true testimony of how companies want to improve and make their products accessible to their customers
