W.H.O REAFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO THE FIGHT AGAINST POLIO

THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION WHO HAS REAFFIRMED ITS COMMITMENT TO THE  FIGHT AGAINST POLIO.
WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE DR. OLUSEGUN BABANIYI SAYS  WHO WILL CONTINUE WITH THE  FIGHT AGAINST POLIO THROUGH ITS GLOBAL POLIO ERADICATION INITIATIVE.
DR. BABANIYI HAS HOWEVER COMMENDED  THE  ZAMBIAN GOVERNMENT FOR  NOT RECORDING ANY POLIO SINCE 2002.
DR. BABANIYI WAS SPEAKING DURING THE PRESENTATION OF A RECONDITIONED VEHICLE TO THE LUSAKA PROVINCE MEDICAL OFFICE IN LUSAKA TODAY
DR BABANIYI HAS HOWEVER URGED THE GOVERNMENT TO PUT THE VEHICLE INTO GOOD USE.
MEAN WHILE LUSAKA PROVINCE MEDICAL OFFICER DR TUCKSON  LAMBART SAYS  THE DONATION WILL HELP THE DISEASES SURVEILLANCE EFFORTS  IN THE FOUR DISTRICT OF LUSAKA PROVINCE THAT INCLUDES LUSAKA, CHONGWE, KAFUE AND LUANGWA DISTRICTS.
