ZAMBIA'S RULING PARTY MMD CHARGES THAT PF LEADER CAN NOT CHEAT PEOPLE OF WESTERN PROVINCE OVER THE BAROTSE LAND AGREEMENT OF 1964

FINANCE AND NATIONAL PLANNING MINISTER DR. SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE HAS CHARGED THAT THE PEOPLE OF WESTERN PROVINCE MORE ESPECIALLY THE LITUNGA WILL NOT BE CHEATED BY PF LEADER MICHAEL SATA OVER THE BAROTSE AGREEMENT.
SPEAKING AT A PRESS BRIEFING IN LUSAKA THIS AFTERNOON , DR. MUSOKOTWANE SAYS THE PEOPLE OF WESTERN PROVINCE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN THAT   WHEN MR SATA  WAS MMD NATIONAL SECRETARY AND HEALTH MINISTER, HE  THREATENED TO DE-RECOGNIZE THE LITUNGA WITH THREE OTHER CHIEFS WHO HE ACCUSED OF SIDING WITH UNIP.
DR MUSOKOTWANE STATED THAT MR. SATA MAKES STATEMENTS WHICH HE THINKS WILL GET HIM VOTES TO WIN AN ELECTION EVERY ELECTION TIME.
HE SAYS THE PEOPLE WHERE HE IS CLAIMING TO GAIN GROUNDS KNOW HIM FOR A PERSON WHO CHANGES GOAL POSTS TO WIN THE VOTES FROM VOTERS.
DR MUSOKOTWANE FURTHER SAYS MR. SATA IS TRYING TO USE THE  PEOPLE OF WESTERN PROVINCE AS A STEPPING LADDER TO WIN THIS YEAR’S ELECTION BUT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN.
